About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Core Java, object-oriented programming concepts, and a passion for building scalable applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on real-world projects and grow as a software engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Assist in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with databases to design and execute SQL queries.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Learn and adopt new technologies as required by the project.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java and OOP concepts.
• Understanding of Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8 features.
• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
• Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
• Exposure to Microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Internship or academic project experience in Java development.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• experience in Java development.
• Freshers with strong Java projects or internship experience can also be considered.
