Lead Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering teams and lead the development of innovative software solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming high-level architecture into detailed technical designs, building scalable applications, and mentoring team members. You will work on critical parts of our technology stack, designing, building, and releasing applications and systems that enhance how our customers learn and engage with our educational and professional platforms.

Skills And Qualifications

3-6 years of hands-on development experience

Proven experience as a technical lead

Expert-level proficiency in software architecture and system design

Core Technology Stack

Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda, AWS SAM, and AWS Step Functions.

Experience with GraphQL and AWS AppSync, including API design, schema development, resolvers, integrations, and efficient data access using DynamoDB.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications using modern technologies.

Define and maintain API contracts, application architecture, and reusable components across frontend and backend systems.

Expert understanding of object-oriented principles and software design

Full-Stack Development

Experience in React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and Material UI (MUI).

Proficiency in building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using modern frontend technologies.

Experience with component-driven development, reusable UI architectures, state management, and frontend performance optimization.

Advanced experience with modern frameworks and libraries

Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elasticsearch,)

Experience with developing cloud-native applications

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies

Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

3-6 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or technical lead

Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions

Experience leading technical initiatives and driving innovation
