Medical Coding Jobs for Bioinfomatics and Biochemistry Graduates

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret biological and genomic datasets using bioinformatics tools.
• Perform sequence analysis, protein structure analysis, and molecular annotation.
• Use databases such as NCBI, UniProt, PDB, and related biological resources.
• Perform protein purification, quantification, and biochemical assays.
• Assist with enzyme kinetics, proteinprotein interactions, and molecular characterization.
• Apply computational approaches to study proteins, genes, and biological pathways.
• Perform statistical analysis and visualize biological data.
• Maintain accurate experimental and computational records.
• Prepare research reports, presentations, and scientific documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involving biologists, biochemists, and computational scientists.

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics .
• Knowledge of bioinformatics databases and sequence-analysis tools.
• Basic proficiency in Python or R is preferred.
• Familiarity with BLAST, sequence alignment, phylogenetic analysis, and protein structure tools.
• Understanding of protein purification and biochemical assays.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and scientific communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with molecular docking and molecular dynamics.
• Knowledge of NGS data analysis.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with structural bioinformatics or computational drug discovery.
• Research experience, publications, or academic projects in bioinformatics/biochemistry.
