About the role: Own the Salesforce product experience for Natera’s commercial and medical field teams. Translate Sales Operations, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and business needs into well-defined platform capabilities across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Consoles, and integrations with Org Service, SOS/Commerce, LIMS, and vendor partners. The goal is to enable field representatives and operations teams to complete territory, account, sales activity, order-support, marketing, and compliance workflows effectively within Salesforce, while maintaining clear system-of-record boundaries.

Discovery & Requirements:

  • Translate leadership requests and SFHELP pain points into BRDs, PRDs, product one-pagers, and HLR-backed epics with clear in-scope and out-of-scope definitions.
  • Map current-state processes such as people movement, quarterly territory planning, call logging, portal order support, and marketing workflows before defining the future state.
  • Gather and translate requirements across Sales Operations, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Compliance, and field teams.
  • Define acceptance criteria covering the data model, automation, UI, Lightning pages, access, reporting, and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud for targeted communications, campaigns, customer engagement, and marketing automation.

Delivery Ownership:

  • Prioritize and sequence Salesforce work for internal teams and external vendors against portfolio and PMO intake.
  • Own sandbox → preprod → production release readiness, including scope, UAT plans, deployment guides, and technical handoffs.
  • Drive UAT, defect resolution, business sign-off, and production readiness.
  • Ensure Salesforce remains the appropriate user experience while maintaining clear system-of-record boundaries across Commerce, Org Service, LIMS, and other platforms.

Cross-Functional Facilitation:

  • Align Sales Ops, Marketing, RDs/field teams, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Org Service, Integration, Helpdesk, and Engineering.
  • Drive alignment on compliance gates, particularly No / Review scenarios.
  • Coordinate UAT, training materials, enablement communications, and go-live support across multiple business units.
  • Partner with technical leads and vendors to resolve functional and integration dependencies.

Salesforce Platform Product Judgment:

  • Determine when to enhance existing Salesforce patterns versus introducing new capabilities.
  • Evaluate solutions across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning apps/consoles, territory management, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Identify org drift, permission-set/profile impacts, record-type-specific UX risks, and integration dependencies before release.
  • Partner with technical leads on architecture and TDD options without owning Apex implementation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with strong experience in enterprise Salesforce environments.
  • Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise CRM, or Salesforce platforms.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required, including understanding of marketing automation, campaigns/journeys, segmentation, communications, and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, objects, relationships, record types, approval processes, permission sets, profiles, automation, and integrations.
  • Ability to create clear and concise PRDs, BRDs, user stories, HLRs, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Business Operations, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Engineering, and IT.
  • Ability to work with technical teams on architecture and integration decisions without needing to write Apex.
  • Experience owning Salesforce releases from discovery and requirements through UAT, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Life Sciences, healthcare, diagnostics, or regulated-industry experience.
  • Salesforce vendor/SI delivery management experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud integration.
  • Familiarity with Lightning Apps/Consoles, CRM Analytics (CRMA), and Territory Management.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git-backed Salesforce metadata, and release documentation.
  • Experience working with external Salesforce implementation partners/vendors.
  • Understanding of PHI, compliance, and regulated healthcare workflows.

Preferred Experience:

  • 7+ years Salesforce experience | Sales Cloud | Marketing Cloud | Enterprise CRM Product Management | Integrations | UAT & Release Management | Healthcare/Life Sciences preferred
