System Engineer / Technical Lead – Infotainment & Connectivity
Location: MRV, Chennai
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end system delivery for HPC (High Performance Computing) platforms, including Infotainment, Connectivity, System Integration, Hardware, and Software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFTs) and suppliers to ensure timely completion of TSO activities and adherence to project timelines.
- Prepare and manage System Requirement Documents (SRDs) and Statements of Requirements (SORs), including supplier sign-off.
- Define and maintain Hardware and Software Interface Specifications.
- Participate in vehicle-level testing, bench testing, and system validation activities.
- Analyze reported issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and drive resolution.
- Track, manage, and close defects raised during development and validation phases.
- Coordinate software releases and ensure successful integration into vehicle programs.Required Experience & Skills

- Strong understanding of Infotainment hardware and peripheral interfaces such as:
- Displays

- Audio Systems
- Good working knowledge of:

- Diagnostics
- System Integration
- Experience in Android Auto (AA) and Apple CarPlay (CP) certification and interoperability testing.
- Awareness of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive Cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience in software delivery management and supplier coordination.
- Exposure to software development lifecycle and embedded automotive systems.Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.Preferred Keywords
