Education: PhD or MSc in Statistics (MSc candidates must be from IIT/ISI)

We are seeking an experienced Statistician – Pre-Clinical Discovery R&D with strong expertise in core statistics, Design of Experiments (DoE), and R programming to support statistical analysis, experimental design, and data-driven decision-making across pharmaceutical research and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply advanced statistical methods to pharmaceutical R&D and scientific research projects.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments using Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Perform statistical analysis, modelling, and data interpretation using R programming.
• Support drug substance, drug product, analytical method development, and regulatory activities.
• Apply statistical model selection techniques and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with scientific teams to understand requirements and deliver statistical solutions.
• Support process characterization, method validation, stability analysis, and shelf-life predictions.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–10 years of relevant hands-on statistical experience.
• PhD or MSc in Statistics (MSc strictly from IIT/ISI).
• Strong proficiency in R programming for statistical analysis and modelling.
• Practical experience in Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Strong knowledge of core statistical methodologies, statistical modelling, and results interpretation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Willingness to work the 1 PM – 10 PM IST shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
• Knowledge of chemistry, biology, or engineering applications.
• Exposure to process characterization, analytical method transfer, validation, and stability studies.
• Familiarity with Spotfire, Tableau, or databases.

Note: Candidates must meet the mandatory educational qualifications and possess practical experience in Statistics, DoE, and R programming.
