Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Java Developer with 1–4 years of experience in developing scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on coding experience, a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining backend services and REST APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services.
Develop scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
Work on bug fixing, debugging, performance optimization, and enhancement activities.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
Work with databases and optimize SQL queries when required.
Support deployment and production activities when needed.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–4 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPs concepts, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs.
Understanding of Microservices architecture.
Experience working with Hibernate/JPA.
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
Basic understanding of Maven/Gradle build tools.
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ or any messaging systems.
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React) would be an advantage.

Education

Must have B. Tech / B. E in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
