Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Python Engineer role based in Noida. The Python Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Python, ensuring clean, efficient, and scalable code. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, integrating with databases and external APIs, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and contribute to software architecture and technical documentation. The Python Engineer will also work to improve development processes, adhere to best practices in security and testing, and support production deployments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain backend applications using Python, Django/Flask.
* Build REST APIs, integrations, web scraping solutions, and real-time services.
* Work with MongoDB for data management, queries, indexing, and optimization.
* Manage Celery, Cron Jobs, and background automation
* Support AWS/cloud deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
* Debug and resolve application, API, database, and production issues.
* Write clean, scalable, tested, and well-documented code.
* Collaborate with teams to deliver reliable technical solutions.
* Use Claude/AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, documentation, and research.
* Review and validate AI-generated code for security, performance, correctness, and maintainability.
Required Skills
*3+ years of Python/backend development experience.
* Postgraduate degree (MCA/M.Tech/MSc or equivalent) in a relevant field.
* Strong Python with Django/Flask experience.
* Experience with REST APIs, MongoDB, web scraping, Celery, Cron Jobs, AWS, and WebSockets.
* Good knowledge of Git, testing, debugging, and software development practices.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
AI & Claude Skills
* Excellent practical experience with *Claude or similar AI coding tools.
* Ability to use AI for development, debugging, testing, code review, refactoring, and documentation.
* Strong ability to validate and improve AI-generated code using independent engineering judgment.
