Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Back End Developer at PPStack. The Back End Developer will design, implement, and maintain server-side applications and APIs that power PPStack’s learning platforms and digital solutions. Responsibilities include building scalable and secure services, integrating databases and external systems, and optimizing performance and reliability across the technology stack. The role involves collaborating with front-end developers, product teams, and data specialists to deliver new features, fix bugs, and improve existing functionality. The Back End Developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Programming with at least one modern language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
- Candidates should possess basic Front-End Development understanding to collaborate effectively across the stack.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clean coding practices, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
