AI Product Engineer

Mstack is an AI-native specialty chemicals company. We take molecules from R&D and synthesis through manufacturing and delivery for 100+ enterprise customers, with teams across India, the US, China, the UAE, Brazil and Mexico. Chemstack AI, our R&D platform, plans and prices synthesis routes, and our labs in Hyderabad turn them into real batches. We're backed by Lightspeed and Alpha Wave.

The role

You'll work directly with our founder and CEO, Shreyans Chopra. The job is to go through every workflow at Mstack (sales, procurement, quality, regulatory, logistics, finance and R&D), find where AI can do the work, and build it. Some of what you build will be assistants that make a team faster. Some will be agents that run an entire process. You'll own each one from the first conversation with the team, through production, to the number it moves.

What you'll do

• Sit with each team, map how work actually gets done, and pick the problems worth solving first
• Build and ship AI assistants, agents and automations into production
• Take on problems like turning an RFQ into a priced quote in minutes, checking every COA against spec before a batch ships, and preparing export documents for six countries without anyone retyping a field
• Connect the systems underneath: ERP, CRM, email, shared drives and our internal data
• Set up evals, monitoring and guardrails so what you ship stays reliable
• Track impact in hours saved, cycle times and revenue per employee
• Help every team get better at using AI on their ownWhat we're looking for
• 5+ years building and shipping software products, with strong full-stack skills (Python and/or TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience taking LLM systems to production: agents, tool use, RAG and evals
• Product judgment: you can sit with a procurement lead in the morning and ship something they use by evening
• Comfort with messy real-world inputs: PDFs, spreadsheets, emails and scanned documents
• Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools are already part of how you work
• Clear communication with operators and leadership alike
• Bonus: experience in manufacturing, supply chain, chemicals or other B2B operationsWhat you get
