Your Impact

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to complex product design, systems analysis, development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming activities across various systems and devices. You will play a key role in driving future technology implementations and delivering high-quality Viewing products.

What the role offers

• Design, develop, and sustain Viewing products.
• Write high-quality code following industry best practices.
• Own the complete development lifecycle, including design, development, validation, test automation, deployment, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to review test plans and test cases.
• Provide technical guidance for software initiatives, technology standardization, and modernization.
• Lead technical activities by distributing tasks, tracking progress, assessing risks, resolving problems, and reporting status.
• Respond promptly and professionally to bug reports and customer escalations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise product development experience.
• Expertise in C++, COM, ATL, Win32, and MFC.
• Strong hands-on software development experience using C++ and C.
• Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and loosely coupled design.
• Experience writing high-performance and reusable code modules.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts with hands-on proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of REST or SOAP web services is desirable.
• Experience with server internals, including multithreading, process models, memory management, scheduling, clustering, and load balancing, is strongly preferred.
