Data Analyst – E-commerce Fulfillment

Location: Global Capability Center, India
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the E-commerce Fulfillment product area.
The Data Analyst will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to analyze complex datasets, identify trends and patterns, develop meaningful insights, and support product and business decisions throughout the product lifecycle.
The role will involve working with large datasets, developing dashboards and reports, defining and tracking key performance indicators, and translating business questions into actionable analytical solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in SQL and data analysis, along with proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools. Experience in e-commerce, retail, fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, or other technology-driven environments will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities across the e-commerce fulfillment journey.
- Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into analytical requirements.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Create and maintain Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboards and reports to effectively communicate business and product performance.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product and business outcomes.
- Support product discovery by providing data-backed insights into customer behavior, operational performance, and fulfillment processes.
- Conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
- Support A/B testing, experimentation, and post-launch analysis by measuring outcomes and identifying meaningful trends.
- Work with Product, Engineering, UX, and business teams to ensure alignment on data requirements, metrics, and success criteria.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytical outputs.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports and analytical processes to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks and standardized reporting practices.
- Stay curious about business and customer problems and proactively identify areas where data can enable better decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Product Analytics, or a similar data-driven role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, including querying, joins, aggregations, subqueries, CTEs, and data manipulation.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets and extracting meaningful insights from them.
- Proficiency in at least one data visualization and reporting tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, data interpretation, and analytical problem-solving.
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and measurable metrics.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports for business and leadership stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and accuracy.
- Good understanding of statistical and analytical concepts.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, UX, and business teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple analytical requirements simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and a bias toward solving problems using data.
Good to Have:
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, or marketplace environments.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers or Product teams.
- Exposure to customer journey, conversion, fulfillment, delivery, inventory, or operational analytics.
- Knowledge of Python/R for data analysis and automation.
- Understanding of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and their application in business or product analytics.
- Experience working with experimentation, A/B testing, or predictive analytics.
- Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, or modern BI ecosystems.
