Functional Consultant, Professional Services
Job Description
The Functional Consultant – Professional Services will lead the execution of Icertis contract management and supply‑chain solutions across diverse industries. Working closely with business stakeholders, engineering, QA, and support teams, you will gather requirements, design functional solutions, configure the platform, and ensure successful deployments while feeding valuable insights back into the product roadmap and internal consulting capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Execute Icertis product implementations following the company methodology, adhering to scope, schedule, and effort.
- Collaborate with business partners to design best‑of‑breed solutions that meet implementation objectives.
- Lead requirement gathering and functional design activities across multiple engagements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Support teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Own system configuration, testing, and deployment for each project.
- Mentor and contribute to capability building within the Professional Services group.
- Provide actionable feedback to the product team to influence the Icertis roadmap.
- Manage client communications, ensuring clear expectations and strong relationships.
- Monitor project health, identify risks early, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Document implementation best practices and lessons learned for future engagements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 full‑life‑cycle enterprise application implementations in a project lead or manager role.
- Prior experience implementing contract management or supply‑chain applications (highly preferred).
- Engineering degree from a reputed institute; MBA in a related field is a distinct advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends and devise effective strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain peer‑to‑peer relationships with client stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with system configuration and deployment of SaaS solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a track record of delivering high‑quality outcomes.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
