JOB DESCRIPTION

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Technical Competency

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tools such as Vertex AI, TensorFlow, AutoML, and BigQuery ML.
• Lead end-to-end AI/ML project lifecycles, from problem definition and data ingestion to model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AIML models into production systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Apply advanced data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization techniques to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
• Leverage Google’s suite of tools for data storage, processing, and orchestration, including Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in Google AI/ML offerings and best practices, proactively recommending and implementing improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performing AIML team culture.
• Expertise in Google AI/ML tools such as Vertex AI, TensorFlow, AutoML, BigQuery ML, and TFX (TensorFlow Extended).
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), with experience in Java, Go, or other languages as a plus.
• Proven experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines for ML, and model lifecycle management on GCP.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools on GCP: Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
• Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring models in production environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have

• Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud AI/ML deployments.
• Background in building AI/ML solutions for large-scale enterprise applications.
