We are currently refreshing and modernizing our website with a strong focus on performance, SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), user experience and lead generation.
We are looking for a hands-on Next.js/Vercel developer who can help us execute this website refresh and continue improving the site over time.
What You'll DoYou will work on an existing website and help us:
- Refresh and modernize the website UI/UX
- Develop and maintain the website using Next.js / React
- Deploy and manage the website through Vercel
- Improve website speed and Core Web Vitals
- Build responsive pages for desktop, tablet and mobile
- Create reusable components and page templates
- Implement SEO-friendly technical architecture
- Implement structured data / schema markup
- Build pages optimized for Google search and AI/answer engines
- Implement AEO-friendly content structures
- Improve internal linking and site architecture
- Implement metadata, canonical URLs, Open Graph and other technical SEO requirements
- Create landing pages for specific services and industries
- Integrate forms, analytics and lead-generation workflows
- Work with APIs and third-party services where required
- Maintain and improve the website after the initial refreshIdeal Technical SkillsRequired
- Strong experience with Next.js
- Strong React/JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Hands-on experience with Vercel

The ideal candidate understands that a B2B website needs to:
Look good → load fast → rank → appear in AI answers → generate leads.
You should be comfortable making technical recommendations rather than simply implementing instructions.
For example, if a proposed implementation will negatively affect SEO, performance or maintainability, we expect you to point that out and suggest a better approach.
Initial ProjectThe first assignment will be a website refresh for OneUpNetworks.
The work will include:
- Review the existing website and codebase
- Recommend technical and UX improvements
- Refresh the website design and page structure
- Improve mobile responsiveness
- Improve performance/Core Web Vitals
- Improve technical SEO
- Implement structured data
- Improve internal linking and site architecture
- Create SEO/AEO-friendly service pages
- Implement lead-generation forms and tracking
- Deploy and manage the site through Vercel
- Test the website across major browsers and devices
- Establish a clean development process for future updatesWorking ArrangementThis is a part-time opportunity rather than a full-time position.
The initial project will involve a concentrated website refresh, followed by ongoing part-time development and optimization work.
The exact number of hours can be flexible depending on the candidate's availability and experience.
