Job Title: Frontend Developer – React / TypeScript

Location: Pune

Roles And Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hooks, Context API, and reusable component patterns.
Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, WebSocket-based services, and real-time messaging platforms.
Contribute to the modernization and maintenance of existing frontend components, including legacy AngularJS applications where required.
Work with modern frontend build tools, package managers, browser APIs, testing frameworks, and debugging tools.
Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent to accelerate development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of frontend engineering practices.
Take ownership of features from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.

Qualifications & Required Skills

5–8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, asynchronous programming, browser APIs, and component design.
Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and real-time/WebSocket-based services.
Experience with modern frontend build tooling, automated testing, Git-based development, and production troubleshooting.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering workflows.
Ability to independently understand existing codebases and collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Skills

React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
React Hooks, Context API, state management, and reusable component design.
REST API integration, asynchronous programming, and WebSocket-based communication.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
Frontend build tools, Git, automated testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Good To Have Skills

Experience with Centrifugo or similar real-time messaging technologies.
Experience maintaining or modernizing AngularJS applications.
Exposure to browser extensions, service workers, Playwright, MSW, pnpm, Vite, or Webpack.
Knowledge of browser-based ML technologies such as ONNX Runtime Web, WebAssembly, or WebGPU.
Experience developing AI-enabled features or integrating AI/ML models, LLMs, or AI services into production applications.
