REQUIREMENT FOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER:

Key Responsibilities

Technical Program Leadership & Implementation

• Own end-to-end technical implementation activities for high-impact programs within the ONDC ecosystem.
• Define processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for implementing utilities, protocols, and products.
• Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for business, operations, external stakeholders, and network participants.
• Drive implementation of technical initiatives across multiple teams and business functions.Stakeholder Coordination & Strategic Initiatives
• Coordinate with vendor teams, internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional units to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead strategic initiatives across organizational verticals, including registry upgrades, certification frameworks, and network observability.
• Use storyboarding and presentations to explain complex technical concepts, implementation plans, and strategic roadmaps.
• Align business objectives with technical execution and delivery timelines.Project Planning & Resource Management
• Develop detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
• Track program progress, dependencies, deliverables, and implementation risks.
• Ensure delivery within agreed timelines and resource constraints.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent initiatives and drive resolution of delivery bottlenecks.Risk Management & Governance
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project guidelines, policies, technical standards, and operational procedures.
• Oversee technical operations related to protocol implementation and network compliance.Technical Coordination & Delivery
• Work closely with engineering teams on microservices, APIs, distributed systems, and integration requirements.
• Support protocol implementation, API documentation, and technical governance.
• Drive Agile-based delivery and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate coordination between technical teams and business leadership.Vendor & Procurement Management
• Support preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and vendor evaluation processes.
• Coordinate bid management and vendor selection activities.
• Manage vendor deliverables and support contract negotiations.
• Ensure vendors meet project scope, timelines, and quality expectations.Who Can Apply?
• Candidates with 6+ years of IT experience in Technical Program Management or technical project delivery.
• Experience managing complex, technically diverse IT products or programs.
• Strong experience in strategic planning, implementation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery and tools such as Jira, GitHub, and SwaggerHub.
• Ability to manage project milestones, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business roadmaps.Good to Have
• Experience in digital commerce, e-commerce platforms, or large-scale internet-facing infrastructure.
• Understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous applications, and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and API lifecycle management.
• Hands-on knowledge of JSON, XML, or YAML.
• Exposure to Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and technical delivery frameworks.
• Experience with RFP preparation, procurement, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Experience with registry upgrades, certification frameworks, network observability, or protocol implementation.
• Exposure to AI-driven orchestration and emerging technologies.
• Relevant program/project management certifications.Key Skills

• Strong communication, presentation, and technical stakeholder management skills.Education
• BE / BTech / MCA / MBA or equivalent qualification.
• Master's degree preferred.
