Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site PHP Developer role based in Goregaon, Mumbai. The PHP Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend components of Volody’s CLM platform, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable functionality. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, integrating front-end elements with server-side logic, optimizing application performance, and participating in code reviews. The role involves collaborating with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to implement new features, resolve technical issues, and improve existing modules. The PHP Developer will also contribute to documentation, follow best practices in software development, and help enhance the overall reliability of the product.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, ideally with hands-on experience in PHP and related frameworks.
• Candidates should possess solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills and a good understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, including working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integrating front-end components with backend services.
• Candidates should possess comprehensive Software Development skills, including debugging, testing, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment practices.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field are beneficial, along with experience building web applications in a product or SaaS environment.
• Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), RESTful APIs, security best practices, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile team in Mumbai.
