Role Description The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets to support strategic and operational decision-making. This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Kolkata Area involves building data models, developing dashboards and reports, and translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design analytical frameworks, and improve data quality and governance. The role includes mentoring junior analysts, identifying process improvement opportunities, and contributing to the enhancement of analytics tools, standards, and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities to interpret complex data sets and generate insights.
• Proficiency in Statistics and Data Modeling to design robust analytical solutions and predictive models.
• Effective Communication skills to present findings, influence stakeholders, and document analyses clearly.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and SQL or other query languages.
• Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in analytics (e.g., Python or R) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead data analytics role, including mentoring or guiding team members.
• Ability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area and collaborate in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
