Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer who can take ownership of our existing product and work across the Flutter, Angular, Python/Django on AWS stack.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable understanding an existing codebase, fixing issues, developing new features, improving performance, and handling deployments and production support.

Primary Skills:

• Strong experience with Flutter & Dart for mobile application development
• Good experience with Angular / TypeScript for web application development
• Proficient in Python & Django for backend/API development
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API integrations
• Experience with real-time communication / WebSockets
• Good understanding of PostgreSQL databases and database design
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab and collaborative development workflows

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the existing product's development and maintenance
• Understand and work across the Flutter, Angular and Python/Django codebase
• Develop new features and product enhancements
• Identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs across front-end, mobile and back-end
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Work with real-time communication and background processes
• Manage and monitor AWS-hosted applications and services
• Improve application performance, scalability, security and reliability

Secondary Skills:

• Firebase experience - Authentication, Firestore, Storage and Cloud Functions
• Experience with state management in Flutter - Riverpod, Provider or Bloc
• Experience with push notifications and background sync
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and services

We're Looking For:
