Information Technology Lead

Countrywide Commodity Repositiory Limited facilitates electronics-ownership and transfer of commodity assets. CCRL was established in 2017 by CDSL (52%), Multi Commodity Exchange (24%) and BSE Investment Ltd (24%). It operates under the regulatory framework of Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA).
Role Description
Ø Select and implement technological solutions to meet current and future needs.
Ø Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
Ø Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
Ø Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets.
Ø Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence.
Ø Consolidate technology platforms and create plans for each.
Ø Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.
Ø Work closely with other departments to define and deliver new products and enhancements.
Ø Develop, track, and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets.
Ø Assess the information security risks to the organization and ensure that the cyber risks are in line with the potential and identified risks.
Ø To implement the security policy and procedures
Ø Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
Ø Defining configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
Ø Performing quality assurance
Ø Defining reporting and alerting requirements
Ø Developing and executing comprehensive system test plans, conditions, test scripts, and test cases
Ø Maintaining business systems standards by applying business analysis methods, tools, and processes as standard practice

Ø Leading and facilitating cross-functional teams in business process modelling, including documenting and mapping business processes Countrywide Commodity Repository Limited (CCRL)
Ø Assessing and formulating cost/benefit analysis
Ø Conducting fit/gap analysis
Ø Deciphering complex data using SQL and other technical tools
Ø Evaluating reporting needs
Ø Understanding how technology services are delivered at infrastructure, middleware, and application stages.
Ø Preparing and delivering informative, well-organized presentations and business analysis project status reviews
Ø Proactively resolving customer issues
Ø Engaging with stakeholders to incorporate usability and user interface needs when determining system requirements.
Ø Participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems design requirements and validate proposed solutions
Eligibility
Ø Bachelor and/or master’s degree. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Ø Proven experience as IT Head or similar role
Ø Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Ø Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), network etc.
Ø Experience in controlling information technology budget.
Ø Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ø Good interpersonal skills; effective team player
Ø Good analytical skills with attention to detail
Ø Technical leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Work Experience
Ø 10+ years’ experience in IT Head role or related.
