About us

Bhalaria Metal Craft Pvt. Ltd. is a eighth-generation family business manufacturing stainless steel cookware, kitchenware, tableware and barware.
We run manufacturing, white labelling, B2B, e-commerce and export across 10,000+ SKUs from our facilities in Umargaon, Gujarat.

The role

We are looking for a builder: someone who can walk into a factory, understand how work gets done, and build the software that runs it.
You will work directly with the owner and with production, stores, purchase, sales and accounts teams.
As the first technology hire, you will build the function and grow into leading it as the team expands.
This is not an ERP implementation or SAP/Oracle configuration role. You will write and ship your own systems.

What you will do

Sit with the people doing the work, ask the right questions and map how each process runs today.
Decide what to build, write clear specifications and test cases, and get agreement from users.
Build, test and deploy end to end yourself: database, backend, UI, reports and integrations.
Use AI tools such as Claude Code as your default way of working, both to build faster and to learn whatever you do not yet know.
Train users, drive adoption and keep improving what is live.

An independent thinker who works out the problem before writing code and does not wait for instructions.
A self-teacher who has picked up tools and domains on your own, and can show it.
A clear communicator, comfortable with shop-floor operators and with management, in writing and in person.
Someone who asks why before how, and challenges a process instead of automating a bad one.
An owner of outcomes: the system is done when people use it, not when the code runs.
