Freelance Remote Full-Stack Python Developer (FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, AWS/Azure)

We're looking for a highly skilled Freelance Full-Stack Python Developer from (India) with 4-5 years of professional experience to join our team initially on a fixed term basis for 3 months. You'll be instrumental in developing and deploying robust, scalable, low-latency, event-driven and modern SaaS web application for financial market. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who excels at owning the entire development lifecycle, from database design to frontend implementation and cloud deployment. ( No Agencies )

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Implementation of new features and applications using the specified tech stack.
• Backend: Develop high-performance, asynchronous APIs using FastAPI (Python).
• Frontend: Implement dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React.js.
• Real-time Features: Integrate and manage real-time data communication using WebSockets.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Code Quality & Documentation: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Testing: Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Cloud Deployment: Configure and manage application deployment, monitoring, and scaling on Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with feature owner on the requirements and develop technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in building and deploying full-stack web applications primarily using Python.
• Advanced skills in FastAPI (or comparable Python frameworks like Flask/Django) for building robust backend services using event driven solutions.
• Strong experience with modern frontend development using React.js (including Hooks, Context/Redux, and component-based architecture).
• Experience implementing and managing WebSockets , Async processing for real-time functionality.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis or similar relational databases, including schema design, and sql query optimization.
• Proven ability to write clean, documented, and testable code (e.g., following PEP 8, using docstrings, TDD/Unit Testing).
• Experience with CI/CD practices and deploying applications to major cloud providers, specifically Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with containerization technologies Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote/freelance setting.
