At Data Eminence, we use data-driven approaches to understand financial markets and identify meaningful market trends. As a Trading Analyst, you will monitor market activity, analyze historical and real-time data, evaluate trading strategies, and communicate findings through structured reports and dashboards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor financial markets, securities, indices, and relevant economic indicators.
- Analyze price movements, trading volumes, volatility, and market trends.
- Conduct technical and quantitative analysis of financial instruments.
- Research companies, sectors, industries, and macroeconomic developments.
- Identify and evaluate potential trading opportunities based on defined strategies.
- Analyze historical market data to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytical models.
- Backtest trading strategies using historical data where appropriate.
- Track the performance of trading strategies and analytical models.
- Monitor relevant financial news, corporate announcements, and economic events.
- Analyze risk and potential returns associated with trading strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of market observations, analysis, and research.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and periodic market reports.
- Present analytical findings clearly to internal stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in trading, financial analysis, equity research, quantitative analysis, or relevant projects.
- Strong interest in financial markets and trading.
- Understanding of stocks, indices, market orders, trading volumes, and basic financial instruments.
- Familiarity with technical analysis concepts and indicators.
- Basic understanding of fundamental and quantitative analysis.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or statistical analysis is a plus.
- Understanding of risk management and trading principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Good research, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain objective and follow structured analytical processes.
