As a Senior IT Solutions Consultant, you will:
- Analyse business, functional, technical, user, and process requirements and translate them into effective solution recommendations.
- Work with business and technology stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve dependencies, and support solution design and implementation.
- Review product roadmaps, backlogs, and upcoming feature releases, highlighting open questions, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
- Identify product and process improvement opportunities aligned with business priorities.
- Provide specialist advice across areas such as test automation, security, data privacy, change readiness, and service improvement.
- Support delivery teams with requirement definition, solution options, impact analysis, complexity assessment, and implementation readiness.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts and coordinate technical resources across teams where required.
- Support change implementation, stakeholder engagement, knowledge transfer, and transition into business-as-usual operations.
- Prepare and deliver clear presentations, recommendations, business cases, and decision-support materials.
- Promote knowledge sharing and provide guidance to colleagues within the consultant’s specialist area.
Automation, testing, and AI-driven improvements (Good to have)
The consultant will also be expected to
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing and operational activities.
- Support the automation of test cases and regression-testing scenarios.
- Design or implement AI-assisted test-data-generation use cases with appropriate controls and validation.
- Explore AI opportunities across testing, documentation, support operations, knowledge management, and root-cause analysis.
- Define measurable productivity or quality improvements for AI and automation use cases.
- Identify opportunities to scale successful AI or automation use cases across products, teams, or domains.
- Ensure AI-generated outputs and automated test results are appropriately reviewed and validated before implementation.
Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
- Strong experience in consulting, business analysis, requirements management, or technology solution delivery.
- Ability to analyse complex business and technical requirements and recommend practical solution options.
- Strong understanding of business processes, system integration, solution design, testing, change management, and implementation.
- Experience working with global, cross-functional, and remote teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business colleagues, technical teams, architects, project managers, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and drive recommendations.
- Knowledge of current IT trends and evolving technologies.
- Exposure to test automation, generative AI, agentic AI, or AI-assisted engineering practices would be an advantage
