Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP ABAP / OData Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Gateway, OData V2/V4, CDS Views, SADL, BOPF, and RAP frameworks. The role focuses on custom development, API enablement, SAP Fiori backend services, and S/4HANA application development using modern SAP programming models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications across ECC and S/4HANA.
  • Develop and support OData V2/V4 services using SAP Gateway and SEGW.
  • Build CDS Views, CDS Associations, CDS Annotations, CDS Exposure Services, and SADL-based OData services.
  • Develop RAP applications using Managed and Unmanaged scenarios.
  • Design and implement BOPF Business Objects, Actions, Determinations, and Validations.
  • Develop RAP Service Definitions, Service Bindings, Behavior Definitions, and EML-based implementations.
  • Support SAP Fiori/UI5 backend integration and API enablement.
  • Implement integrations using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, Web Services, and OData APIs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform debugging, and optimize application performance on SAP HANA.
  • Participate in S/4HANA transformation, modernization, conversion, and migration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient SAP solutions.Required Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong expertise in ABAP OO and ABAP on HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Gateway, SEGW, and OData V2/V4.
  • Strong knowledge of CDS Views, Associations, and Annotations.
  • Experience with SADL framework and CDS-based OData services.
  • Strong understanding of RAP architecture, Behavior Definitions, Service Definitions, and Service Bindings.
  • Experience with BOPF framework, including Actions, Determinations, and Validations.
  • Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good to Have
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 backend enablement.
  • Knowledge of AMDP, SQLScript, HANA SQL, and HANA-optimized development.
  • Experience with RAP Managed and Unmanaged implementations.
  • Knowledge of EML, Draft Handling, and Custom Actions in RAP.
  • Experience with S/4HANA conversion or migration projects.
  • Experience developing custom applications for SAP ECC and S/4HANA.Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
