RoleLooking for an experienced WordPress Developer who can take ownership of developing, preparing, and launching EduPicks.sg, an education-focused marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and launch the EduPicks.sg marketplace from the existing base.
• Build vendor registration, vendor dashboard and product listing functionality.
• Create and manage categories and subcategories for different products/services.
• Integrate required APIs, payment gateways and third-party tools.
• Select, configure and customise suitable WordPress/WooCommerce marketplace plugins.
• Ensure website is mobile-friendly, secure, fast and scalable.
• Handle testing, bug fixing, integrations and final deployment.
• Take ownership of the product launch, not just website development.
• Coordinate with the marketing/content team for launch requirements.
• Prepare SOPs, process documents and product-related videos wherever required.
• Identify technical gaps and recommend solutions independently.
• Manage the project from development → testing → launch → initial optimisation.

Required Skills

• Strong WordPress & WooCommerce development experience.
• Experience with marketplace websites / multi-vendor platforms.
• Good knowledge of APIs, plugins, payment integrations and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of website launch, marketing requirements and conversion optimisation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
• Experience creating SOPs/documentation and basic product/tutorial videos is preferred.
• Should be comfortable taking end-to-end ownership rather than only completing assigned development tasks.

ImportantA base team will be allotted only after the developer establishes the core platform and initial product is ready. Therefore, the candidate should initially be capable of working independently and taking ownership of the complete development and launch process.
