Hiring: AI Solutions Engineer – Agentic AI, Python & Full-Stack

Experience: 3–6 years | Location: Chennai, India (preferred) | Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong AI Solutions Engineer with expertise in Python, Agentic AI, full-stack development, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure.

You will take end-to-end technical ownership of enterprise AI solutions from understanding business requirements and designing system architecture to developing applications, integrating AI models, engineering data pipelines, deploying to production, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Working closely with the founder and enterprise clients, you will translate business problems into scalable, secure, production-ready AI applications and intelligent enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

AI Engineering & Agentic AI

• Build AI agents, multi-agent workflows, RAG pipelines, document intelligence systems, and LLM-powered applications.
• Work with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent agentic AI frameworks.
• Integrate commercial and open-source models, embeddings, vector databases, and AI APIs.
• Understand model selection, evaluation, inference, fine-tuning, tool calling, orchestration, and AI reliability.

Python & Full-Stack Engineering

• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and business logic using Python, FastAPI, Django, or equivalent frameworks.
• Build frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Demonstrate strong programming fundamentals, software design, asynchronous programming, testing, and debugging.
• Independently identify root causes, fix bugs, refactor code, optimise performance, and improve existing systems across the application stack.

Data Engineering & Databases

• Work extensively with PostgreSQL and SQL, including database design, indexing, query optimisation, and performance troubleshooting.
• Design data ingestion, transformation, validation, and ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Understand data lakes, enterprise data architectures, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Integrate enterprise data sources and build reliable, secure data foundations for AI applications.

Cloud, Deployment & Enterprise Architecture

• Deploy and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• Work with Docker, CI/CD, cloud databases, storage, networking, identity management, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Design end-to-end architectures spanning frontend, backend, AI, data, infrastructure, security, and enterprise integrations.
• Understand APIs, authentication, role-based access control, data governance, and production system reliability.

Solution Ownership & Client Engagement

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, architecture, and implementation plans.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture walkthroughs, and solution demonstrations with clients.
• Explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own technical delivery from discovery and development through deployment, debugging, and ongoing improvement.

Required Expertise

• Experience: 3–6 years in software engineering, AI engineering, or full-stack development, with demonstrable hands-on project experience.
• Python: Strong proficiency in core Python, backend engineering, debugging, testing, and code optimisation.
• AI: Practical experience with LLM integration, agentic AI frameworks, RAG, embeddings, and AI application architecture.
• Full-stack: Backend API development and working proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Data: Strong PostgreSQL/SQL skills and an understanding of data engineering, ETL/ELT, and data lake architectures.
• Cloud: Hands-on deployment experience with Azure or AWS, including Docker, CI/CD, security, and troubleshooting.
• Enterprise systems: Understanding of system integrations, authentication, access controls, and secure data handling.
• Communication: Strong analytical thinking, clear technical communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience delivering production-grade AI solutions rather than prototypes or tutorial projects alone.
• The ability to write, understand, debug, and maintain code independently, without depending on AI coding assistants or IDE agents for core engineering work.
• Confidence in investigating unfamiliar codebases, experimenting with open-source technologies, and resolving complex technical problems.
• The ability to think like a solution architect while remaining hands-on with implementation.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset and enthusiasm for building enterprise-grade technology.

Technical Evaluation

Candidates will undergo a practical, project-based assessment covering Python programming, debugging, AI engineering, system design, PostgreSQL, data architecture, cloud deployment, and technical communication.

Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate projects they have personally developed and explain their architectural decisions, technical challenges, and individual contributions.

Additional Requirements

• Chennai-based candidates or those open to relocating to Chennai are preferred.
• Must be open to domestic and international travel for client engagements and overseas assignments when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
