Senior Fullstack Engineer (Angular / Java)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (Angular / Java) based in India.

Join a remote engineering team developing modern, scalable enterprise applications across frontend and backend technologies. In this role, you will focus on building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces while maintaining strong ownership of backend services and integrations. You will work primarily with Angular, TypeScript, Java, and modern backend frameworks to deliver reliable software solutions. Collaborating with distributed Agile teams, you will contribute to architectural decisions, technical design, and engineering best practices. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex features across the full technology stack. You will also help drive continuous improvement, maintain high code quality, and support the delivery of robust enterprise applications.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications while ensuring seamless integration between frontend interfaces and backend services. Your work will contribute to technical excellence, application performance, and the continuous improvement of development practices.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
• Build modern, responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data models and database interactions.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions, technical design discussions, and implementation strategies.
• Independently deliver features across the frontend and backend.
• Maintain high code quality through clean coding practices, automated testing, and peer reviews.
• Collaborate with distributed Agile teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and promote engineering best practices.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong frontend expertise with solid backend engineering skills and the ability to take ownership of complex enterprise software development. You should be comfortable working independently, collaborating across distributed teams, and contributing to technical decisions throughout the development lifecycle.

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Solid backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases.
• Good knowledge of software architecture, clean code principles, and automated testing.
• Ability to independently design and implement features across the full technology stack.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to task ownership, decision-making, and proposing solutions.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and distributed teams.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployment environments.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience contributing to technical mentoring, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
