About the RoleBrand Operations & Business Development ManagerThis is a hands-on, high-ownership startup role.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Founder and will help manage and execute a broad range of activities required to establish and grow WholeMix.

The role combines business operations, manufacturing coordination, supply chain, inventory management, logistics, sales coordination, business development, customer relationship management, commercial operations and brand development.

This is not a conventional desk job with narrowly defined responsibilities. The selected candidate should be comfortable wearing multiple hats, solving problems independently and taking a task from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate is organized, commercially aware, execution-focused, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-growing entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Manufacturing & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with manufacturing units, suppliers and business partners.
  • Track production schedules and ensure timely availability of products.
  • Follow up on production status, quantities and expected completion dates.
  • Coordinate availability of packaging materials, bags, labels, cartons and other materials.
  • Communicate product specifications, packaging requirements and production requirements.
  • Coordinate product sampling, testing, technical documentation and quality requirements.
  • Maintain records of manufacturers, suppliers, products, specifications and commercial terms.
  • Coordinate batch details, production quantities and dispatches.2. Supply Chain, Inventory & Logistics
  • Manage and coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and stock reconciliation records.
  • Monitor stock levels and prevent stock-outs.
  • Coordinate replenishment and production requirements.
  • Maintain records of inward and outward stock.
  • Coordinate warehouse and storage operations.
  • Manage dispatch schedules and transportation partners.
  • Track shipments and delivery status.3. Sales Coordination & Business Development
  • Generate and follow up on business leads across Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
  • Identify and approach dealers, distributors, hardware retailers and institutional customers.
  • Develop relationships with builders, contractors, tile contractors, architects and engineers.
  • Identify and approach RMC plants for concrete admixture business.
  • Develop relationships with construction companies and project procurement teams.
  • Conduct market visits and understand territory-wise market requirements.

4. Dealer & Distributor Development

  • Identify suitable dealers, distributors and hardware retailers.
  • Present WholeMix products to prospective channel partners.
  • Coordinate dealer/distributor onboarding.
  • Maintain dealer and distributor databases.
  • Monitor orders and stock requirements.
  • Follow up for repeat business.
  • Support dealer engagement and promotional activities.
  • Identify gaps in geographical distribution.
  • Assist in expanding the WholeMix retail and distribution network.5. RMC & Institutional Business DevelopmentConcrete admixtures will be an important area of WholeMix's growth strategy.

The candidate will assist in developing relationships with:

  • RMC plants
  • Infrastructure companies
  • Construction companies
  • Builders and developers
  • Civil contractors
  • Project procurement teams
  • Engineering consultantsResponsibilities may include identifying prospects, arranging meetings, coordinating samples and technical information, following up on product trials, supporting commercial discussions and converting prospects into long-term customers.

Candidates with experience in construction chemicals, concrete admixtures, RMC, cement, building materials or infrastructure sales will have an advantage.

6. Customer Relationship Management

  • Handle customer enquiries relating to products, pricing, availability and delivery.
  • Coordinate quotations and order processing.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers.
  • Follow up on pending orders and payments.
  • Address customer complaints and coordinate resolution.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and cross-selling.
  • Maintain customer databases and CRM records.
  • Ensure a smooth customer experience from enquiry to delivery and after-sales support.7. Commercial Operations & Documentation
  • Coordinate preparation and issue of sales invoices.
  • Coordinate purchase documentation.
  • Prepare or coordinate E-Way Bills wherever applicable.
  • Maintain sales and purchase records.
  • Coordinate GST-related operational documentation.
  • Maintain customer and vendor records.
  • Coordinate with accountants, tax consultants and professional advisors.
  • Assist with receivables and customer payment follow-ups.
  • Maintain proper documentation for quotations, orders, dispatches and payments.A working understanding of GST, invoicing, E-Way Bills, sales/purchase documentation and basic accounting processes will be an advantage.

8. MIS, Reporting & Business AnalyticsMaintain and prepare:

  • Sales reports
  • Inventory reports
  • Purchase reports
  • Dispatch reports
  • Customer and lead reports
  • Outstanding payment reports
  • Vendor performance reports
  • Product-wise and territory-wise reports
  • Weekly and monthly MISThe candidate will also track business KPIs and provide management with timely information for decision-making.

9. SOPs & Process DevelopmentAs WholeMix is an early-stage business, the candidate will assist in creating and improving systems and processes, including:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Vendor onboarding
  • Procurement workflows
  • Inventory-control systems
  • Dispatch procedures
  • Customer onboarding
  • Dealer/distributor onboarding
  • Lead management
  • Sales follow-up
  • Reporting and internal checklistsThe ability to build systems where none currently exist will be highly valued.
