Role Description The Founding Partner will play a central role in defining and executing the firm’s strategic vision, business model, and growth plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying market opportunities in securities and analytics, developing service and product offerings, and building relationships with key clients, partners, and investors. The role involves overseeing business development, contributing to financial and operational planning, and guiding the design of analytical tools, research frameworks, and reporting standards. The Founding Partner will collaborate with other team members to establish organizational processes, hiring priorities, and performance metrics while representing the firm at industry events and meetings. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong background in finance, securities markets, or investment analysis, with the ability to interpret market trends and data for strategic decision-making.
• Experience in business strategy, entrepreneurship, or leadership roles, including setting objectives, managing resources, and driving growth initiatives.
• Proficiency with financial modeling, data analytics tools, or quantitative research methods relevant to securities and portfolio analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Ability to operate in a startup or early-stage environment, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are an advantage.
