Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business System Analyst at Taxcart. The Business System Analyst will collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate business needs into clear system requirements and functional specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing existing workflows, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities, documenting business processes, and supporting the design and implementation of new features and integrations. The role involves gathering and validating requirements with stakeholders, preparing use cases and user stories, performing data and impact analysis, and assisting in testing and user acceptance activities. The Business System Analyst will also help maintain documentation, monitor system performance against business objectives, and provide ongoing support for enhancements and optimizations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis skills, with experience bridging business needs and technical solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills, including gathering, documenting, and prioritizing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on findings.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, or ERP integrations is beneficial.
- Knowledge of tax, fintech, or e-commerce domains is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Proficiency with requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
