Product Architect

Greater Bengaluru Area

Product Lead

Experience: 3–5 years | Product Architecture + Hands-on Building + UX

Role Mandate

We are looking for a hands-on Product Lead who can take an existing process, workflow or domain model and turn it into a simple, useful and scalable digital product.

You will work from problem → product architecture → prototype → MVP → user validation → iteration.

This is a builder role. You should be able to define how the product works, rapidly prototype and build using modern AI-enabled tools, and create sufficiently strong user experiences to test the product with real users.

The role spans both B2B and B2C product thinking:

OIS, Organization Intelligence System: primarily a B2B product helping organizations and leaders sense organizational conditions, interpret evidence and make better interventions.

SIP, Skills Intelligence Product: translates existing skills, capability, learning and development processes into digital workflows that may serve organizations, managers and individual users.

The challenge is not inventing every process from scratch. It is understanding an existing process deeply enough to determine what should be preserved, what should be simplified, what should be automated, and what should be fundamentally redesigned as a product.

What You Will Do

Product Architecture

Understand existing business, organizational and user workflows and convert them into clear product architecture.

Define users, problems, journeys, product objects, workflows, rules, outputs and outcomes.

Translate complex domain concepts into simple product experiences without losing their underlying logic.

Define MVP scope and decide what to build, prototype, automate, keep manual or defer.

Write clear product requirements, user flows and acceptance criteria.

Balance B2B requirements such as configuration, governance and enterprise workflows with B2C expectations of simplicity, engagement and self-service.

Build

Take ideas from concept to working prototype and MVP.

Personally build prototypes and product workflows using modern development and AI-assisted tools.

Work with APIs, databases, structured data and AI/LLM capabilities.

Use tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Replit or equivalent to shorten build-test cycles.

Integrate existing services and platforms rather than over-engineering everything internally.

Work with specialist engineers as the product and technical architecture mature.

Product Experience

Design user journeys, wireframes and interaction flows.

Create usable prototypes in Figma/FigJam or equivalent.

Simplify complex workflows for both enterprise and individual users.

Put prototypes directly in front of users and observe where they struggle.

Iterate based on actual behavior and evidence, not only stated preferences.

You do not need to be a specialist UI designer. You should, however, be capable of taking a product from an idea to an experience that is good enough to put in a user's hands.

AI Product Thinking

Identify where AI improves the workflow and where conventional software or human judgment works better.

Design AI capabilities that are grounded, explainable, reviewable and correctable.

Work with LLM APIs, structured outputs, retrieval/RAG and AI-assisted workflows.

Design around hallucination, uncertainty, privacy and inappropriate automation.

Build simple evaluation mechanisms to determine whether AI output is actually useful.

Customer & User Validation

Talk directly with enterprise customers and individual users.

Understand existing workflows before redesigning them.

Test concepts and prototypes before investing heavily in engineering.

Participate in early pilots and product launches.

Measure usability, adoption, repeat use and customer value.

Use evidence to decide whether to continue, change, simplify or stop.

What We Are Looking For

Experience

3–5 years in product, product engineering, startup product development or a closely related role.

You should have demonstrated experience in several of the following:

Taking a digital product or substantial feature from idea to release.

Converting an existing offline, service or business process into a digital product/workflow.

Building B2B and/or B2C product experiences.

Personally creating prototypes or working software.

Working directly with users or customers.

Defining an MVP and making difficult scope trade-offs.

Working with AI-enabled products or rapidly learning AI product development.

Experience in AI, SaaS, HRTech, LearningTech, EdTech, skills, workforce, organization, knowledge or workflow products is useful but not mandatory.

**Core Skills**

Must Have

Strong product and systems thinking

Product architecture and workflow design

MVP definition and prioritization

User journey and interaction design

Working knowledge of Figma or equivalent

Comfort with APIs, databases and modern web applications

Hands-on use of AI coding/building tools

Understanding of LLM-based product capabilities

Strong written and verbal communication

Ability to work directly with founders, users and engineers

High comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration

Good to Have

Full-stack development experience

SQL and data modelling

React/TypeScript, Python or equivalent

LLM APIs, RAG and structured outputs

B2B SaaS/enterprise workflows

Consumer/self-service product experience

Product analytics and experimentation

What This Role Is Not

**This is not a:**

Project Manager managing timelines

Product Owner managing Jira

Business Analyst writing requirements

Pure UI/UX Designer

Pure Software Engineer

Prompt Engineer

Product Manager who hands specifications to engineering

We need someone who can understand the problem, structure the product, build enough of it to make it real, and learn directly from users.

How We Will Assess You

We will primarily look for evidence that you can:

Deconstruct an existing process and redesign it as a product.

Convert ambiguity into clear product objects, workflows and decisions.

Define a small, testable MVP rather than a large feature list.

Build or prototype enough of the product yourself to test the idea.

Design a simple experience for either an enterprise or individual user.

Use AI appropriately rather than adding AI simply because it is available.

Explain something you built, what you personally owned, what failed, and what you changed.

The Person We Want

A product thinker who builds. A builder who understands users. Someone who can take an existing process or complex idea, find its essential logic, turn it into a simple product, put it in users' hands and keep improving it from evidence.

Experience matters less than evidence of ownership, product judgment, building ability and learning velocity.
