Full Stack Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Lead to develop and deliver cloud-first web applications and lead high-performing, cross-functional development teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership, client management, solution architecture, and team-building capabilities.

The candidate should have strong experience with React.js, Node.js, Python, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and enterprise application development.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Business Alignment

• Interface regularly with clients, including stakeholders from leading Fortune 500 organizations, to understand strategic requirements and business priorities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and effective technology solutions.
• Align technology initiatives with client objectives and organizational priorities.
• Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Delivery & Technical Leadership

• Build delivery plans in collaboration with domain experts and ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead mixed-discipline development teams and provide technical direction throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify technical and delivery risks and develop alternate plans or mitigation strategies.
• Provide strategic leadership in system design and microservices-driven architecture.
• Define team structures and participate actively in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and training.
• Resolve complex technical challenges and support Technical Leads in design and coding activities.
• Remain hands-on and contribute to development and troubleshooting when required.

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-first web applications using technologies including:
• React.js
• Node.js
• Python
• JavaScript
• Flask
• Django
• MERN Stack
• Develop scalable and high-quality enterprise applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
• Develop applications using Microservices Architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Work across databases such as PostgreSQL and other relational/data platforms.
• Participate in application development, productionization, support, and maintenance.

Architecture & Database

• Define and review technical requirements, architecture, and implementation approaches.
• Design scalable and maintainable application architectures.
• Review database schemas and provide expertise in database design and optimization.
• Design comprehensive yet simple and effective data models.
• Contribute to database modeling, development, and integration.
• Evaluate emerging web technologies and identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, and ROI.

Team Leadership & Hiring

• Lead and manage highly competent development teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Act as a hiring manager and help build and scale the engineering organization.
• Define team structures based on project and business requirements.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent.
• Foster an Agile, collaborative, and high-performance engineering culture.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in software development and technical leadership.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with modern web technologies.
• Strong experience with one or more of:
• Python
• JavaScript
• React.js
• Node.js
• Flask
• Django
• MERN Stack
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Strong API design and development experience.
• Proven experience building high-quality, enterprise-level applications.
• Strong database modeling and development experience, preferably with PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading and directly managing software development teams.
• Strong understanding of application development, integration, productionization, and support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-level web applications.
• Experience as a Frontend, Backend, or Full Stack Developer.
• Experience architecting, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Experience with cloud-first application development.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and integration.
• Experience working directly with enterprise/Fortune 500 clients.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
