Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Designer role based in Kolkata. The Web Designer will create and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly websites that reflect Lenin Silk Corp’s brand and product range. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing web pages and layouts, collaborating with marketing and product teams to translate business needs into digital experiences, and preparing design assets such as banners, product imagery, and graphics. The role involves working with front-end implementation partners or developers, ensuring responsive design across devices, and optimizing designs for performance and accessibility. The Web Designer will also support ongoing website updates, basic content changes, and continuous improvement of the overall user experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills, with the ability to create clean, modern, and user-focused interfaces.
• Candidates should possess Graphic Design and Graphics skills for producing high-quality visual assets, imagery, and digital brand materials.
• Candidates should possess Front-End and specifically extraordinary backend development skills sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers and understand HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript integration.
• Candidates should have proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator) and an understanding of web usability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Candidates should have strong attention to detail, good communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A diploma or degree in Design, Visual Communication, Computer Science, or a related field, and prior experience as a Web Designer or UI Designer, are beneficial.
