Our SAP practice supports organisations through implementations, rollouts, upgrades and ongoing application management. We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.

Role Summary

Quadric IT is hiring two SAP Fiori developers to design and build the user experience layer of SAP. Business users increasingly work through Fiori apps, so they need to be fast, intuitive and reliable on top of correct back-end data.

In this role you will build and extend Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori elements, configure how users find and launch those apps, and work with ABAP developers and functional consultants on the services and data models behind them.

Key Responsibilities

App development

• Design and develop custom Fiori applications using SAPUI5 (JavaScript, XML views, MVC) following SAP Fiori design guidelines.
• Build Fiori elements applications using annotations, and extend standard Fiori apps where the business needs it.
• Consume OData services in UI applications, and work with back-end developers on service design, performance and error handling.

Launchpad And User Experience

• Configure the SAP Fiori launchpad: catalogs, groups or spaces and pages, tiles, target mappings and roles, in line with the landscape in use.
• Run usability reviews with business users and refine screens, navigation and messages.
• Diagnose front-end issues using browser developer tools, and resolve launchpad, authorisation and app errors with Basis and security teams.

Quality and support

• Apply version control, code reviews and testing practices to UI development.
• Resolve production defects and change requests, document apps and deployment steps, and support testing and releases.

Required Skills And Experience

• 8+ years of relevant SAP experience, including substantial hands-on SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development.
• Strong JavaScript, XML views and SAPUI5 controls, with a clear understanding of MVC, data binding and routing.
• Practical experience with SAP Fiori elements and annotation-based UIs.
• Experience consuming OData services and working with SAP Gateway or equivalent service layers.
• Hands-on SAP Fiori launchpad configuration and app deployment.
• Experience with modern development tools such as SAP Business Application Studio or Visual Studio Code, and Git.

Preferred Skills (nice To Have)

• Fiori apps built on CDS views and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Fiori apps and their extension options.
• Exposure to SAP BTP deployment for UI applications.
• Accessibility and responsive design experience.

WAYS OF WORKING

• Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
• Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
• Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are a UI developer who understands SAP data as well as the screen. You can build a clean, fast Fiori app, explain why a tile does not appear for a user, and work with back-end developers so the whole app performs.

PROVIDENT FUND (PF) REQUIREMENT

Provident Fund (PF) membership is mandatory for this role.
