Role Description

The Product Manager – Timken Bearings will oversee the Purchase team and Sales team for Timken bearing solutions, ensuring profitable growth and strong market positioning.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, involving close collaboration with sales, technical, and procurement teams.

The Product Manager will also track sales performance, maintain accurate product documentation, and contribute to marketing initiatives, including product promotions, customer visits, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Timken Bearings product portfolio and support its profitable growth.
• Coordinate with the Purchase and Sales teams for Timken bearing products.
• Develop product strategies, pricing, portfolio planning, and market positioning.
• Support sales teams with technical and commercial requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Understand bearing applications, specifications, and performance requirements.
• Prepare and support technical-commercial offers.
• Conduct customer visits and support business development activities.
• Monitor sales performance and market trends.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis.
• Support product promotions and marketing activities.
• Maintain accurate product-related documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and manufacturers for product-related requirements.
• Travel to customer locations whenever required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bearing Industry Experience is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Bearings Industry.
• Candidate must currently be based in Ahmedabad.
• Experience in Bearings Sales / Marketing / Product Management / Application Engineering / Technical Sales will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of bearings and related mechanical or rotating equipment.
• Good understanding of bearing specifications, applications, and performance requirements.
• Strong business development and sales support skills.
• Good customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prepare technical-commercial offers.
• Good analytical and market research skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in standard office productivity tools and Salesforce.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in an on-site role.
