About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose Business Analytics, Digital Business Location: Mumbai Function: Digital (SonyLIV) Reports to: Lead, Performance Marketing The incumbent would be responsible for supporting the growth of the business through sharp data insights and analysis He will also be responsible for bringing together data insights from various sources to contribute towards comprehensive, data-driven business strategies

Key Responsibilities

  • Use data analytics to understand the content performance on platform
  • In depth analysis of key viewership metrics & subscription metrics and regularly reporting them to stakeholders
  • Development and management of data dashboards for daily insights
  • Enable business to increase the viewership and maximize revenue
  • Report and automate the key business performance metrics for all key launches
  • Work on target setting and tracking of viewership targets for all upcoming launches

  • DAV/MAV growth
  • Subscriptions
  • Watch time
  • Completion rates
  • Retention rates
  • Content engagement
  • CTR on featured content
  • Subscriber/viewer growth

Qualifications

  • MBA/ Postgraduate in Marketing, Media, Analytics or related field
  • 6 to 8+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel, Python or R is desired
  • Understanding of OTT, Media & Digital Ecosystem

  • Strategic thinking mindset
  • Ability to break down and present complex data insights into simplified storytelling to cross-functional teams
  • Strongly driven to take ownership and independently develop a data-driven point of view in a fast-paced, complex and cross-functional environment
  • Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL, and knowledge of R or python
