About the Role
We are looking for an innovative and highly skilled Data Scientist with strong Generative AI expertise to join our team and work on cutting-edge AI initiatives for a leading global enterprise.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, evaluating, and deploying Generative AI and LLM-based solutions to solve complex business and industrial challenges. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern AI technologies and contribute to impactful, enterprise-scale solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and apply the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI architectures to real-world business problems.
- Design, develop, fine-tune, and deploy GenAI solutions for use cases such as text generation, code generation, synthetic data, and intelligent automation.
- Develop and optimize solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI cloud services.
- Work with OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or similar GenAI platforms.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to identify, collect, preprocess, and manage datasets required for AI solutions.
- Develop evaluation frameworks, metrics, and methodologies to assess and improve LLM/GenAI performance.
- Build and maintain scalable AI/ML pipelines using appropriate MLOps and CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, researchers, and business/domain experts to translate requirements into AI solutions.
- Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers/data scientists.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and LLM technologies.
- Ensure solutions follow responsible AI, data privacy, security, and governance best practices.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for development, automation, and AI/ML solutions.
- Practical experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, LLM usage, and GenAI best practices.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering and data/streaming technologies.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools/frameworks such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, CI/CD, or equivalent.
- Understanding of storage solutions and data lifecycle management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a self-organized, collaborative environment.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Strong customer and stakeholder orientation.
- Excellent English communication skills – mandatory.
Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Experience building Microsoft Teams chatbots or integrations.
- Experience with advanced LLM application development, evaluation, and optimization.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale AI/ML deployments.
