Role Overview:

We are actively seeking a dynamic VP of Data Science to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our operations, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering exceptional results within your functional area. The ideal candidate will combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on, tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and structurally scale a high-performing, globally distributed team.
• Conduct deep-dive research to answer complex operational questions.
• Collaborate directly with executive leadership to drive core company milestones.
• Extract, aggregate, clean, and analyze data from multiple disparate sources.
• Identify critical trends, behavioral patterns, and anomalies in complex datasets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of demonstrated, progressive success in a relevant functional role.
• High-level proficiency with SQL, Python, Excel, and enterprise BI tools.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and asynchronous communication capabilities.
• Strong statistical knowledge and experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Highly organized methodology with a strong ability to prioritize effectively.
