About the Role

We are looking for a Web Developer to manage and maintain brand websites, implement

website updates, resolve technical issues, and improve website performance. The ideal

candidate should have experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and be able

to work closely with the marketing and operations teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

● Website Management: Manage and maintain brand websites, ensuring that all pages,

links, product listings, and features work properly.

● Shopify Management: Handle Shopify store updates, theme customisation, product

uploads, collection management, and website settings.

● Website Development: Develop and modify website pages, layouts, and features

based on business requirements.

● Coding & Customisation: Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant

technologies to implement website changes and improve functionality.

● Product & Content Updates: Upload product details, images, descriptions, pricing, and

other content while ensuring accuracy and consistency.

● Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve website errors, broken links, display

issues, loading problems, and other technical glitches.

● Third-Party Integrations: Assist with the integration and maintenance of payment

gateways, checkout tools, analytics platforms, CRM tools, and other website

applications.

● Website Performance: Monitor website speed, mobile responsiveness, usability, and

overall performance, and implement improvements where required.

● SEO & Analytics Support: Implement basic technical SEO requirements, tracking

codes, pixels, and analytics tools in coordination with the marketing team.

● Testing & Quality Checks: Test website updates across devices and browsers before

making changes live.

● Coordination: Work with the marketing, design, and operations teams to implement

website requirements and resolve technical issues.

● Security & Backups: Follow appropriate practices for website security, data protection,

backups, and access management.

● Documentation: Maintain records of website changes, integrations, technical issues,

and their resolutions.

Skills Required

● Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.

● Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Understanding of responsive website design and cross-browser compatibility.

● Familiarity with website integrations, payment gateways, and analytics tools.

● Basic understanding of technical SEO and website performance optimisation.

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related

field.

● Relevant experience in website development and e-commerce management.

● Experience working with fashion, retail, or D2C brands will be an added advantage.
