As an AI Specialist, you will lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI and Generative AI solutions that support digital transformation initiatives. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and leadership, you will identify AI opportunities, build scalable solutions, and champion responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Innovation

• Contribute to the organization's AI roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives
• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across operations, customer engagement, analytics, and automation
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend scalable solutions
• Drive innovation through proof-of-concepts and pilot initiativesAI Solution Design & Development
• Design, build, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI models
• Develop AI-powered solutions including predictive analytics, intelligent assistants, knowledge management tools, and automation platforms
• Build and maintain AI pipelines for data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, applications, and data platformsData Engineering & MLOps
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams to ensure availability of high-quality data
• Implement feature engineering, model versioning, monitoring, and MLOps best practices
• Support data governance, privacy, and compliance initiatives
• Develop scalable AI architectures leveraging cloud technologiesAI Enablement & Adoption
• Support teams in adopting AI-powered tools and solutions
• Develop training materials, workshops, and best-practice guidance
• Promote AI literacy and increase awareness of AI capabilities across the organization
• Partner with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through AI innovation Automation & Intelligent Workflows
• Build AI-driven automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Develop chatbots, virtual assistants, and knowledge management platforms utilizing LLMs and workflow technologies
• Streamline business processes through intelligent automation and AI-powered decision support AI Governance & Responsible AI
• Ensure AI solutions align with ethical, transparent, and responsible AI principles
• Support AI governance, risk assessments, and security compliance initiatives
• Promote fairness, explainability, bias detection, and responsible data usage
• Contribute to AI policies and operational standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience
• Strong expertise in:
• Machine Learning
• Deep Learning
• Generative AI
• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Python
• TensorFlow or PyTorch
• LangChain
• OpenAI APIs / Azure OpenAI
• Experience deploying AI solutions into production environments
• Knowledge of:
• MLOps frameworks
• Data pipelines
• ETL processes
• SQL
• Data Warehousing
• API integrations
• Experience with cloud platforms such as:
• Microsoft Azure (preferred)
• AWS
• Google Cloud Platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Higher Education, Research, or Academic environments
• Understanding of student lifecycle, learning management systems, admissions, assessments, and research workflows
• Cloud or AI certifications such as:
• Azure AI Engineer
• Azure Data Scientist
• AWS Machine Learning Specialty
