Currently, we are working on an advanced finance and trading app that aims to revolutionize the way users manage their trading portfolios. We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join our team and take the lead in building the backend of this dynamic project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the development and architecture of a secure, scalable backend for a finance platform using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to integrate APIs and ensure smooth operation between all systems.
  • Implement real-time data processing and messaging for trading functionalities.
  • Ensure code quality and performance optimization, including managing memory usage, performance tuning, and data integrity.
  • Work closely with DevOps to deploy and manage the backend on cloud infrastructure (AWS or other platforms).
  • Implement and manage APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations for financial services (such as payment gateways, trading APIs, etc.).
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure robustness and stability, especially for financial transactions and user authentication.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Node.js, trading, and finance-related technologies. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 2+ years of experience with Node.js development in a senior/lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Express.js, Nest.js, or other backend frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in implementing security best practices, particularly in finance applications (encryption, secure authentication, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
