Role Description The General Manager role at Duroguard Steel Doors is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. This role oversees overall business operations for the Duroguard brand, including sales performance, production planning, supply chain coordination, and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will lead cross-functional teams, set and track operational and financial targets, and ensure that manufacturing, quality, and delivery standards align with brand expectations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing processes, managing vendor and distribution relationships, and driving market growth through strategic initiatives. The role also involves budgeting, resource allocation, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and close collaboration with senior leadership to execute long-term business plans.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work culture.
• Strong operations and production management capabilities, including planning, process optimization,
• Proficiency in sales and business development, with experience in market expansion, channel management, and customer relationship management.
• Sound financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and performance analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and partners.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in building materials, home security products, or related industries is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
