Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer – AI Product Engineering who is passionate about building scalable products and working at the intersection of modern software engineering and Generative AI.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack, a product engineering mindset, and a good understanding of LLMs and AI-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

Build and integrate AI/LLM-powered features and products.

Work closely with product and engineering teams to convert ideas into production-ready solutions.

Design and develop robust APIs, backend services, and frontend experiences.

Deploy and manage applications on AWS/cloud infrastructure.

Evaluate and integrate LLMs, AI APIs, and emerging AI technologies.

Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, and engineering discussions.

Troubleshoot complex technical problems and drive solutions independently.

Contribute to improving engineering practices, scalability, performance, and reliability.

Required Skills

Strong experience as a Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer.

Hands-on expertise in the MERN stack:

MongoDB

Express.js

React.js

Node.js

Practical experience in AI product development or building AI-powered applications.

Good understanding of LLMs and Generative AI concepts.

Experience with AWS/cloud technologies.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, databases, authentication, and scalable application architecture.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of engineering problems.

Good understanding of software development lifecycle and product engineering practices.

Good to Have

Experience with Electron.js and building cross-platform desktop applications.

Experience with Open Source projects/contributions.

Experience with LLM frameworks, AI agents, RAG, vector databases, or AI orchestration.

Experience with TypeScript.

Experience with Docker and CI/CD.

Exposure to cloud-native architecture and microservices.

Contributions to GitHub or experience maintaining open-source projects.
