Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Accosis is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, security, and reliability of our fintech applications, including UPI payments, banking services, web platforms, mobile applications, and backend microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Develop and maintain API, UI, integration, and regression automation.
• Test REST APIs, gRPC services, and microservice integrations.
• Validate UPI, payment, refund, settlement, and reconciliation workflows.
• Verify transaction accuracy, database consistency, and error handling.
• Test authentication, OTP, RBAC, and API security controls.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, performance, and negative testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to ensure release quality.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of software testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman and REST API testing.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Automation scripting using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and microservices.
• Experience testing React web and Android/iOS applications.
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Fintech, banking, UPI, or payment gateway testing.
• React Native automation using Appium, Maestro, or Detox.
• Performance testing using k6 or JMeter.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and OWASP security testing.
