Associate Product Manager

Job Description Summary

As an Associate Product Manager at Alacriti, you will drive the vision, roadmap, and development of our cloud-native money movement and payments platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, performant, and developer-friendly payment solutions that delight users and accelerate digital transformation for our financial clients. We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of product management experience, specifically with a track record of owning platform, API, or developer-facing products end-to-end.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the product and create and execute on a compelling roadmap
• Build deep user empathy with Alacriti’s clients and partners, understanding global payment industry trends and competitors' offerings to influence the roadmap effectively
• Collaborate with engineering, design and other teams to jointly shape product experiences that delight end-users
• Ensure we are building a reliable, performant platform, including system reliability, API extensibility, and latency
• Use metrics to inform point of view and leverage analytics to measure success
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for precise and concise articulation of user problems
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience defining and tracking success metrics, running experiments (e.g., holdback tests), and using data to measure product impact on revenue, adoption and margins
• Experience working on products that require aligning multiple stakeholders, developing joint roadmaps, and navigating competing priorities between internal goals and external partner objectives
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with significant autonomy and responsibility
• Strong business acumen and comfort with complex ecosystem and platform-level problems

• You have worked on technically complex products - such as APIs, developer tools, shared platform capabilities, or core product experiences - but you do not build tech/platform for its own sake. You see strong platform design as a way to help users move faster, create better products, and unlock new business models.
• You are opinionated, thoughtful, and execution-oriented. You can focus a team on the few decisions that matter most, create momentum in ambiguous situations, and ship products that raise the bar for both quality and impact.

Key Requirements

• Product Management Experience: 3+ years of experience in Product Management, with end-to-end ownership of platform, API, or developer-facing products.
• Product Strategy and Execution: Demonstrated experience in roadmap development, feature prioritization, product delivery, and outcome measurement.
• Payments and FinTech Knowledge: Strong understanding of payment processing, money movement, transaction flows, payment ecosystems, or financial technology products.
• Technical Product Understanding: Ability to work with APIs, platform capabilities, technical requirements, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Experience defining product success metrics, analyzing performance data, and measuring business impact.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong problem-discovery skills and the ability to translate user needs into effective product solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Business Acumen: Ability to understand business models, customer value, revenue opportunities, and complex platform-level challenges.
• Go-to-Market Collaboration: Experience working with Sales and Marketing teams on product launches, positioning, enablement, and adoption.
• Execution and Ownership: Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Domain Experience: Prior experience in payments, FinTech, banking technology, or financial infrastructure is an advantage.
• Platform Product Experience: Experience converting customized or client-specific solutions into scalable, reusable product capabilities.
• API and Developer Products: Experience building or managing API-first products, developer-facing platforms, or technical integrations.
• Strategic Product Thinking: Ability to anticipate future customer needs and make well-judged foundational product investments.
• Experimentation and Analytics: Experience with product experiments, holdback tests, performance measurement, and data-driven optimization.
