Data Science Manager

📍 Location: Bengaluru / Pune / Hyderabad

🏢 Work Mode: Hybrid – 2–3 days per week from office

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Data Science with strong hands-on expertise in Forecasting and/or Price Elasticity/Pricing Analytics, along with proven people-management, technical leadership, and project-delivery experience. The ideal candidate will lead data science teams, drive end-to-end analytics initiatives, manage stakeholders, and deliver measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end forecasting and pricing analytics projects, from problem definition and model development to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop statistical and machine learning models for demand forecasting, sales prediction, price elasticity, and pricing optimization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop data science teams while remaining hands-on with technical problem-solving and model development.
• Partner with business stakeholders and clients to translate business requirements into actionable analytical solutions.
• Drive measurable business outcomes, including improved forecast accuracy, revenue growth, margin optimization, and better decision-making.
• Manage project delivery, timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong Data Science experience with mandatory expertise in Forecasting and/or Price Elasticity/Pricing Analytics.
• Proven experience delivering 4–5 relevant forecasting and/or pricing analytics projects.
• Strong expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and quantitative problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and relevant data science libraries.
• Proven people-management, team mentoring, and technical leadership experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business problem-solving skills.
• Ability to demonstrate direct contributions to projects and their measurable business impact.

Preferred Experience

• Demand forecasting, demand planning, revenue management, price optimization, or commercial analytics.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale data science solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills across business, product, engineering, and analytics teams.
