About the Role

USDC is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our technology talent network and contribute to software development initiatives across our client engagements.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure software applications. You will collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.

Depending on your experience and client assignment, you may work across backend development, API engineering, databases, cloud platforms, application integrations, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications.

• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and application components.

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support application functionality and data management.

• Debug applications, investigate technical issues, and implement effective solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative development.

• Develop automated tests and maintain software quality standards.

• Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.

• Contribute to technical architecture, system design, and engineering decisions.

• Use Git and version control systems to manage code and collaborate effectively.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and software releases.

• Maintain technical documentation and communicate implementation decisions.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, clients, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Evaluate and adopt relevant technologies, frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools as project requirements evolve.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or an equivalent language.

• Practical experience developing software applications, backend services, or application components.

• Understanding of REST APIs, server-side development, and database fundamentals.

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software engineering best practices.

• Familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with Docker, containers, and application deployment practices.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and automated build processes.

• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.

• Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks.

• Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, or cloud-native development.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Familiarity with application security, performance optimization, and production monitoring.

• Experience using AI-powered development tools or building AI-enabled applications.

Compensation

₹12,00,000–₹18,00,000 per annum.

Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, technical proficiency, qualifications, and client assignment requirements.
