Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Title: AI Engineer

Location: Gurugram - Hybrid

The AI Engineer enables Microsoft Copilot on Gold-layer semantic models and lays the AI/ML foundation for advanced analytics.

This role bridges data engineering and intelligent applications, ensuring Gold-layer

data is AI-ready, well-governed, and optimised for conversational and predictive use

cases.

• Configure and enable Microsoft Copilot on all Wave 1 Gold-layer Power BI

semantic models

• Enable Power BI Q&A (natural language query) across certified semantic

models with synonym tuning

• Ensure Gold-layer data structures, measure names, and metadata are AI-

prompt-friendly

• Validate Copilot response accuracy and relevance against business KPI

definitions

• Design the AI/ML readiness framework for feature store, model serving, data

contracts

• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to define OneLake data contracts for

ML workloads

• Implement Fabric Notebooks-based data science workflows (Spark MLlib /

scikit-learn)

• Integrate Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Services where required for advanced

language capabilities

• Ensure all AI outputs comply with data protection requirements
• Document Copilot configuration, limitations, and business-user guidance
• Support Power BI Copilot training sessions for analyst-level users
